An exchange of police constabularies between Poland and Britain is to be signed in the Malopolska region's capital Krakow on October 8, Radio ORLA can report exclusively.

The relations will lead to joint training of police officers and a chance to sample each others' cultural differences.

Tim Hollis, the Chief Constable of Humberside Police who is involved in the joint training of police officers with Malopolska, said he expects many positive synergies from officers' experiences.

In January this year, Polish police officers were guests of Humberside constabulary in Hull, north England. The purpose of that visit was to train officers in rapid response, which is increasingly resourced by the British government to combat terrorism.
